Yummy, Juicy Plums!

The fruit on the plum trees at Village Kids are just ripening. As a tasty morning treat, the Tui's gathered up a few plums and sat together to enjoy their juicy goodness. The mess on the children's hands and faces said it all about how perfectly ripe the plums are at the moment as they were all covered in red, sticky juice. What a great way to be out in the sunshine together and enjoying home grown fruit.

Carefully Does It.

The Tui's found a new use for the see-saw this afternoon. They decided to use it as a balancing beam which was a bit of a challenge. The children walked carefully up the beam. In the middle, they waited for the drop and then they carried on down to the bottom. There were lots of squeals of laughter when the beam bumped, as well as some wobbly legs. It was great to see the children all waiting for their turn and also being very careful when on the beam. Great support from the team!! The see-saw allowed the children to challenge their physical abilities and it was cool to see their confidence grow as they mastered the beam.
